Client collaboration
What the client sees and what stays with the team.
The client works in the same wedding as you: adding guests, seating them at tables and assigning rooms. Internal threads and tasks stay with the team.
As the client, tap a table with an available seat.

| Table 8 | 10/12 |
The team prints the document as a PDF or sends it to service staff by link. The client does not download vendor documents.

A simplified demo from Emily and James's wedding. Nothing is saved. You can find the full guest record from the team's, client's and document views below.
Who sees what
One guest, three views.
Clients often get a shared spreadsheet while the team keeps a separate internal version; over time, the two diverge. In Kruspin, there is one wedding and each person sees their part. Below is Arthur Wilson from Emily & James's wedding: if you moved his seat above, you will see the new one.
Instead of a separate internal version. The team works with the complete guest record, notes and internal thread, and decides what the client can change.
The team edits every guest field and writes in both threads.

What to watch for
Three things the client can see.
Review these before inviting the client.
One budget, including for the client
Kruspin does not have a hidden, team-only budget version. Keep your cost calculations and margins outside the wedding.
Notes on their tasks
A note on a client or shared task is also visible to the client. Write anything meant only for the team on an internal task or in an internal thread.
Room capacity
The client sees rooms and assigns guests by night. They cannot change rooms, capacity or prices, or assign a guest beyond capacity.
Next step
Discuss the item with the client right there.
Client and team communication
Client and internal threads attached to a task, guest, table, room or payment.
Kruspin or a shared spreadsheetWhen a shared client spreadsheet is enough, and when it is not, shown through one guest change.
See the wedding through the client's eyes.
After signing up, you get the app with Emily & James's wedding. Open it in client preview to see what they see.
Frequently asked questions
Client collaboration in practice.
Did not find an answer? Write to us through the page support.
How do I invite the client?
Send an email invitation from the wedding. The invitation shows a What they will see in the wedding summary, so you know what access they receive. The client signs in with an emailed code; no password is needed.
How do I check what the client will see?
The account owner or an administrator can open the wedding in client preview. Be aware that edits made in the preview are really saved.
Can the client choose vendors?
Yes, if you give them access to vendor selection for the wedding. They mark whether they are interested in each candidate, and their response appears in your internal communication.
